# Marketing meeting notes

FICTIONAL WORKSHOP SOURCE. This is an invented planning meeting about Halden Reports. It contains decisions, suggestions and unanswered questions; it isn't an approved product specification.

## Agreed direction

The team agreed to prepare a small launch draft for existing Monitor customers on the Team tier and above. A demo invitation is the proposed call to action for the workshop draft. Product marketing will review the message, and the product manager will check capabilities before any release communication. The exact launch date remains unconfirmed.

Marketing's wider objective is qualified pipeline. The reporting team should look at whether campaigns generate suitable sales conversations, rather than celebrate every increase in form submissions. Comparing months requires checking what each metric means and whether the data uses comparable periods. These notes supply no campaign results, so the reporting hackathon will receive separate fictional exports and definitions.

## Ideas raised

A content colleague suggested a headline: 'Your weekly compliance report, approved and ready to go.' Another suggested using 'real-time regulatory intelligence' in the opening paragraph because it sounded more immediate. Neither suggestion was approved. The team asked the product manager to check both against the product briefing before further use.

A designer suggested a short video showing a manager sharing a report. That is a creative idea, not evidence of an existing product interface. Any workshop visual should be labelled illustrative. The group also discussed a landing page and an internal sales note, but agreed that the first useful draft should be one email with its claims table.

## Missing information

No one confirmed a launch date, demo booking link, implementation duration or additional pricing. The team needs those answers before customer-facing use. The workshop email can show a clearly marked booking-link placeholder. It mustn't invent a destination or imply the product is already available.

There was no agreement to add weekly scheduling or approval routing to the release. Mara's interview shows interest in both, but the product briefing excludes them. The team should record the requests for later consideration without turning them into launch promises.

## Next work

Each person will build and check a mini-brain from the supplied sources. Teams will then choose a reporting, launch, process or DIY job and attach a separate task brief. Before finishing, every team will save one reviewed draft, a reusable method, the changes it made and a named owner for the next test.
